We had to put down our daughter’s Great Daine puppy (9 months old) in December of 2006 due to weight loss and kidney failuer. The dog could not keep food down and our vet did not know why. Our daughter spent nearly $3000 on vet bills then had to have the dog destroyed because he lost 30 pounds and was suffering. Eukanuba and Iams canned food. She loved this dog and thought she was buying the best food available. What a sad thing to happen “Dude” was a wonderful annimal.
