3 Teens Accused of Burning Dog Alive

We ask why do things like this happen? In Georgia, three teens are accused of burning a dog alive. A woman saw flames in her backyard and hosed it down until the fire department came. Not until the flames were all gone did she realize that it was a dog that was on fire and that it was still alive. Rescue workers tried to save the dog, but the dog died shortly after the fire. Three boys were charged with felony aggravated cruelty to animals.

    death penalty. simple as that.

i would really like to see all the people who abuse and kill animals for amusement to be dealt with in exactly the same way that they found so amusing in the first place. i imagine these little darlings will get off with probation.

They should be burned at the stake…but if not, they will definitely burn in Hell!

isn’t it a statistical fact that children who abuse animals are much more likely to become sociopaths, serial killers, and whatnot?

I think they crack down on animal abuse for exactly that reason.

Allie wrote what I was thinking. Sociopathic behavior does escalate, and often starts w/cruelty to animals. I really hope that somebody is keeping an eye on those kids, because this might be just the beginning.

i agree with justme - let them suffer the same fate they gave that poor animal. it absolutely sickens me. however, it is indicative of our society’s low regard for the lives of animals. take a look at how our food animals are treated, yet we look the other way because we eat them.

Yes, I agree with JustMe. As I’ve said before: humans should have the same cruel punishment done to them as they’ve done to an animal. Our society has no use for people like this. They are sick and evil. Our government does not take animal abuse that seriously.

I too feel for the poor dog. There was a horse’s tail set on fire a couple years ago. That horse is now living its life without a tail. Thank God it has a compassionate owner who realizes what the horse needs to have beings she has lost her protection from the flies and mosquitos.

All city raised teenagers should have to spend a summer on a farm, working. They would learn so much about animals and farming.

No farmer is going to take poor care of their animals when animals in poor health cost the farmer more money than if they keep them healthy in the first place. PETA and HSUS would love for you to keep believing this, Kristy. You need to do some research and visit some farms. PETA and HSUS would be extremely happy to have you and I without ANY animals. If their current push for animal rights continues, this is what will happen.

Wake up folks before it is too late!

They’re already sociopaths. I know the diagnosis isn’t supposed to kick in until after 18, but people need to catch on!
    1. Cruelty to animals
    2. Fire-setting
    3. Bedwetting (why nocturia,I don’t know)

Un-FREAKIN-believable. What gets me is that our society is not equally as horrified when it happens to an animal vs. a human. If they’d done this to a human it’d be a different story. But oh… it was “just a dog? Give him a fine.” Its *quite* sickening. I do however, believe in karma. They will get “theirs”. (Too bad I couldn’t be the one to give it to them! But that’s not my job, I guess.)
