That was only one can. She stopped eatting after that. I have a nickname for her "my little piggy". She has now stopped eatting and going on the second night. I rubbed her tummy and she felt better but now this is the 7th. She is now not even not going out the door to outside. she loves running and loves barking. I am very upset now and she looks very sad. what the Heck why dont companies help out "us who buy their products". I am now thinking of looking into the computer for now on and looking and surching all products I buy for my dogs. My can dog food I just bought three days ago along with pedigree cans of dog food sit on my self. I am going to put them somewhere and if she gets very sick I will be very very unhappy. I will be taking her to the vet asap. I didnt know this was happening and I have given her a second can tonight. Here I got trusting companies and thinking they are on our side. I am very unhappy and now Pepper my australian sheppered is so slow and sad she doesnt even want to go outside and just stays in. I am reading the sad emails now and I can't believe a company will go out of their way just to make a buck. I will now not buy any products from ALPO, my dog is like a baby for me and I got her as a companion for me and my wife and daisy my pit/lab after my dad passed away. I fed my dog of 12 years Alpo prime cuts and he became gravely ill. He could not stand or walk and became violently ill. He died and we did nothing different except feed him the night before. The pain and suffering my wife and I went through was beyond belief. I am still upset after going through the serial numbers. As for Alpo, I suggest you do some more checking because your numbers are not complete. Try April 2009, 71091159, L64962156. I implore people not to trust the serial numbers on the cans. Now, I am worried about my other 4 dogs, whom also has eaten the same brand. If anyone can tell me how to look up the recall lot numbers on the alpo, please let me know.
