Yes, I’ve been to these races and there ARE discriminating haters because they have teacups or very skinny Chis, and expects to win, har, har!!!
It’s like expecting to win the Olympics 100 yard dash with a “little” person!

just out of curiosity…did the pure bred chihuahua and elitist owner even make it to the finals??

Congrats Maddy! obviously like sue said, this is not a dog show ! it is a fun event for little dogs and their families to come together! so leave your issues att your doorstep before going to a family event like this, and try to appriciate the fun! I think at 4-5 lbs it’s a great accomplishment chihuahua or not! my 3lbs chihuahua and my 6 lbs mutt are both awesome! full bred chi or not! and that is what we need to focus on, doesn’t matter if you’re black or white! right!? once again Maddy congrats!

i think you should stop being elitist…this is not one of those best in shows - it’s petco creating a fun dog race for chihuahuas - and that means hybrids too! yeah, see you at the finals…

I think it should only be pure breed chihuahuas. That dog dosen’t even look like a chihuahua.
Well i guess ill see her next year when me and my chi are in the finals.
