It doesn’t sound like we have all the facts in place, but apparently, there is a family in Napavine that owns 4 Bengal tigers. Unfortunately, this family is being evicted, so they will surrender two of the four friendly kittens to a rescue organization called Cat Tales in Cheney. We’re not sure how they plan on being without a home, yet care for the other two. Are they even allowed to have one Panthera tigris? I believe they are a threatened species.
The Bengal tiger is a large, striped cat from India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and Burma. It lives in a variety of habitats, including rainforests and dense grasslands. The Bengal tiger can live to about 18 years in captivity, and probably a few years less in the wild. Bengal tigers are mostly solitary, but sometimes travel in groups of 3 or 4. These tigers are in danger of extinction due to over-hunting by poachers. — From Enchanted Learning
