Seeing a pet get spayed or neutered is not a pretty sight, but most owners get it done, so there won’t be illegitimate puppies or kitties running around or their pet won’t be knocked up by the dog from the wrong side of the tracks. For those of you who are interested, from February 26- March 3, Seattle Animal Shelter is offering free spay or neuter certificates for those who need financial assistance or anyone who needs an incentive to get their pet spayed or neutered. For more information, call (206) 386-PETS (7387). FYI, February 27 is Spay and Neuter Day in the state of Washington. Thank goodness my dog is neutered because I think the world can only handle one of him.
