Topaz use to decide to play with this toy in the middle of the night when I lived in a studio apartment,she loved it, would lay on her side an bat that ball as hard as she could over and over and over, started having to turrn it upside down before i went to bed. : ) had to throw it away when Geisha got he URI. Threw a lot of toys away back then. Anything I couldn’t clorox or throw in a washing machine got tossed

There’s a few variations on this toy too (Crazy Circle, Cat-go-nuts and others) and we’ve tried most of them. 2 things in common, ball in a circular track and cats going crazy over it!

Different cats seem to have different favorites but in general they all love all of them.

mine played with it for a week( i had just gotten kittens so…the rest of my cats are ancient and play means smacking me open pawed if i don’t fed them fast enough ) and now will only touch it if it’s coated in cat nip. they were thrilled with it now it’s where they sit when they want my attention at dinner time.

rescuers suggested to change the ball to reinterest jaded cat.

in all fairness i built the little princesses a 6 foot high, 4 level, fun fur and sissel covered cat tree and they all scratch the heck out of it. the young ones hang from the top shelf, dangling like tortie bats.that’s pretty much the scratching focal point of the house with the added plus that it puts them at my eye level so they can glare at me more effectively.

and such is life when you’re not the alpha cat…

I mentioned this toy in the review of Da Bird - this is in my cat’s top 3 faves. Seriously people, if your cat doesn’t have one it just means you don’t love your cat… haha ;)

Yes, this toy is absolutely the BEST! All my cats love it and as a rescuer, I have many. I have 8 or 9 of the toys, a couple in each room, and one in my time out cage. I have to replace the cardboards frequently simply because of all the use they get.
Several of my cats like to curl up and sleep in the middle of them too, even better than a beddie. Two will bat the ball back and forth to each other, and I can hear the balls rolling around all evening. My cats never seem to lose interest in it, the best scratcher ever, even after they have had the toys for several years. This is without a doubt, THE BEST CAT TOY there is. And it is SAFE! I do have one cat who is able to get the ball out, and he lost it. I will eventually find it, and in the meantime, I put a small golfball sized wiffle ball in it, and that works ok too, except it is easier to get out. On a scale of 1 to 10, this toy is about a 15!

I have this toy and my cats have loved it for years. When not playing or scratching, one of my cats used to curl up in the middle on the cardboard and sleep for hours. Was one of her favorite “beds” in the house. She is gone now, but a picture of her lying on this toy is on the wall right here beside my computer. Was quite surprised to see the review on it today.

Sometimes I put a golf ball in it and it’s a turbo-carged trubo scratcher, faster for the adolescents in the home but hard on people feet when that golf ball escapes and gets stepped on. My favorite is when kittens are in center and go in circles till they fall asleep.

There are great, and the refill cardboards are inexpensive. I have 8 cats & 2 turbo scratchers. It is the only non-human interactive toy that all 8 use, though some only stop to scratch while others love the ball, too. I always know when it’s time to clip claws because my big, 18 lb. boy rips out the inside half of the cardboard…even if it’s brand new! I’m sure these toys have given my carpets years of additional life. I even gave one to my mom for her 2 cats. Her picky one likes it as long as no one is watching her!

My two kitties love this toy also. At every age! They especially like it when I slip it halfway under a towel or newspaper so they have to figure out where the ball went. They go nuts.

my cats love this, but my one cat will pee on the cardboard after it gets ripped up, just in case I hadn’t noticed it needed a new one.

All of my kitty friends have enjoyed this toy! Cute when 2 play and bat it back in forth! All time favorite, no matter the age of the cat.
