Duh, cats can swim anyway, stupid humans don't know that. It's a tribute to the cat's intelligence and restraint in the face of human stupidity that he doesn't immediately go and pee on her bed to make his point. She probably wouldn't get it anyway.

1) Cats don't need to be taught to swim. They do that instinctively.

2) Why keep sticking them in the pool once you know they can swim.

3) Just because a cat doesn't scratch your face off when you stick in a pool doesn't mean she likes it. She is just being polite and waiting til favorite shoes are available to barf in.

Why in heaven's name would she keep exposing these cats to chlorine and heaven knows what else?

I understand being worried about the cats falling into the pool (obviously not indoor-only cats), but now that she knows that they can all get out, why continue to subject them to the pool chemicals?
