I wish all cats had this much fun in the water especially for bathing.

Oooooh, this reminds me of my Bengal when he was a kitten. He LOVED the water. Sometimes he’d play, other times he’d actually swim little laps. It was hilarious.

i had a persian tortie who ran around the edge of the bath when anyone was in there and dangled her paws in the water. she also rushed to any just emptied sink or tub where she’d roll around in the wet. now i have a black turkish angora who hangs off the lip of the sink as i do the dishes, getting splashed by water and she loves it- turn on a faucet and she comes running and pokes her paws in the water. i no longer have a tub but who knows if she’d jump in…

That is hillarious! The closest I come to that is my tortoise shell calico, Chase, comes tearing into the kitchen whenever she hears the ice dispenser….

It would indeed be wonderful if all cats loved water this much.
(Might cut down on household accidents in cat owners!)

They need to get him a little motorized water toy. I have a shark that I put in the bathtub (with only about an inch of water) and my cat has a blast chasing it around. The only thing he doesn’t like is getting dried off.
