awwww....poor kitty! I wouldn't have been able to stand by and let the cat be tangled in the cord like that though.
We have one that loves our feather duster too and she likes to carry it around with her. Hmmm...must put it on furniture so she can accomplish a task while she plays with it.

I am NOT going to explain HOW I know this, but I do.

Do NOT store your feather duster in the stove. It may be safe from the cat but it is not safe from helpful house-guests who will prestink the entire house in an effort to preheat the oven.

Do NOT store the feather duster in the freezer. It might be safe from the cat but it will cause the symptoms of heart failure and a lot of screaming from house-guests. Though you would think that after the last time they would have better sense that to open the freezer door without asking, they will do it and freak.

Do NOT store the feather duster in any cabinet without a child lock- just don't. Your cats will figure out how to open that cabinet at 3AM and by the time the whole household has calmed down and EVERYONE has denied calling 911 and the cops are putting the guns BACK in the holsters and you have displayed far more than you wanted to about what you wear to bed to the entire neighborhood, and the house-guests are packing frantically and calling a taxi to the airport, just don't. People laugh at this, you will not find it funny, the neighbors will. And some of them have camera equipped phones.

Feather dusters are not suitable for households that include cats. Period.

He deserves a cookie for all that hard work. I've seen adults with less ambition.

Cats can be amazing but this little kitty is at risk of falling and strangling on the loose drapery cord.
