Coffee For Dogs
Does your dog go crazy whenever he walks by Starbucks? Does the smell of fresh roasted coffee cause her to jump with excitement?
DoggyLicious, a Phoenix-based company, has created Doggy Java. This drink may look like a cappuccino, but it is caffeine-free.
This beef-flavored vitamin drink is expected to hit retailers in December. It comes in a coffee bag and looks like coffee when it is mixed with water. The Doggy Java is served in a canine cappuccino cup and comes withs a Bonescotti biscuit.
Mari Justin, the creator of Doggy Java said this is the first product on the market to induce a dog’s desire to drink water and at the same time provide vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
“The days of hiding their pills in cheese, peanut butter or other foods are over,” added Justin.
Doggy Java won first and second places in the New Product Awards Dog category at SuperZoo 2007, a national show for pet retailers.

As much as I hate to admit it, I would probably buy this stuff just so Daisy and I can have our morning coffee together. After we get back from our walk, of course. ;)

OK. Where do those vitamins and minerals come from and what’s in those Bonescotti biscuits?

If they really wanted to appeal to dogs, they’d put it in a toilet-shaped bowl.

Not my dogs—they’re happy with water, that’s what their creator made for them to drink, and we don’t want some!

will they also start sitting around for 5 hours at a time in upscale coffee bars writing bad poetry or blogging about anarchy and how Bush is a Nazi over the WiFi connection?
just say no. flipping up the toilet lid pretty much is a universal inducement for any dog to get their fill of water.

actually i tried it. i donated the cup to my coffee shop as a water dish for dogs. As for the product she doesn’t seem to like it in H20 but on her food is ok. it is 48 percent protein and 5 percent fat- that is all that really matters
