Dallas Mayor Pays Vet Bills For Stray Dog
When the American Inn motel in Dallas, Texas was demolished, a stray dog’s life was spared when crews saw the dog.
Lucky, the dog, was then brought into the Dallas animal shelter where he is currently being cared for. Veterinarians said that Lucky needs an expensive amputation surgery due to his injuries.
Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert has stepped in to help Lucky and is paying all of the dog’s medical bills out of his own pocket.
