Dog Accidentally Shoots Man

This is not the first time that something like this has happened. Earlier this year in August, a dog accidentally shot his owner in the back. The dog got excited, and his tail knocked a loaded pistol off the table causing the gun to go off.

Now, there is another incident of a dog accidentally shooting an Oregon man.

The dog owner, Eddie Moss, was sitting in his pickup truck with a loaded rifle and his dog in the back. Another man, Darin Zyzniewski, came up to the truck and started talking to Moss.

The dog continued to step on the rifle which caused it to discharge through the driver door. Zyzniewski was struck in the left arm and was treated for his injury.

Authorities recommend to not have a loaded rifle inside a car, and to keep pets and children away from loaded guns.

Stupidity has to be pinched,eh? Better this way than the man accidentally shoots his innocent dog.

Duh. That is what gun racks are for and the safety should have been locked. Although I don’t believe in hunting, I have been around guns enough to have some sense about them. Some people are just oblivious, Eddie.

Our first reaction is “it serves him right”.

The first thing any hunter safety course in the land tells you is never point a gun at anything you don’t want to shoot. Shortly after that they tell you to unload the gun before putting it in the car/truck.

Moss sounds like a Darwin Award nominee.
