Dog May Have Been Used As Bait To Train Fight Dogs
Warning: This story may disturb some readers.
Two-year-old Benson was found abandoned on the side of Route 10 in New Jersey. When authorities came to investigate, they found this Labrador and greyhound mix passive and “scared to death” with more than 50 bite marks all over his body. There were old scars and fresh wounds up and down his legs and on his face and head area.
Animal welfare experts suspect that Benson was used as “bait” to train fight dogs which would also explain Benson’s submissive and passive demeanor.
The Humane Society is offering a $2,500 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the abusers.
Benson was treated at a local animal clinic and after a few days of TLC, his affectionate and gentle personality is showing. He will soon be available for adoption.

Thank God Benson was found and will now have an opportunity for a loving family! I’ll never understand those who choose violence and cruelty for a “sport.”

Below is a link where you can see a picture of him and a video. The video shows him running and being soooo sweet, also some of his healing and healed over wounds (warning….nothing bloody though). He looks like a sweetheart and I can’t imagine what was done to him. I hope they find the abusers very soon and use them for target practice or something.

I can’t stand these stories anymore. God needs to come down and crucify these people.

All I can say is that Dog Fighting is sick from the core. Anyone who can find pleasure in watching innocent animals suffer unnecessarily has to be sick and in need of a basic reeducation in morality. Hitler’s destruction of human beings would be the next step in the progression of that sickness.

I have a lab of my own and he is the most gentle dog. The fact that people do not care one bit about how these animals feel while they are using them just burns my biscuit. I think that the people who do fight there dogs should get put in prison and don’t even get me started on Micheal Vick.
