Attention all vehicle manufacturers. My new car has an escape hatch in case someone is locked in a trunk. But teaching a dog to learn how to use it?

Methinks auto design engineers need to go back to the drawing board and put a low voltage motion sensor in the trunk so that it issues an auditory alert when the trunk is closed and there's movement inside. Of course this means that everyone will need to anchor down their parcels, but that's easily done.

Poor puppy.
