Dog Towed Away In Illegally Parked Car

A pet owner in Winnipeg, Canada saw a tow-truck driver tow her car away with her diabetic, blind dog inside after she parked in a no-parking zone during rush hour.

The owner said she was wrong for parking the car illegally, but she said the tow company was wrong for taking her dog away.

The couple was able to chase down the tow truck as the driver was pulling away with their dog. After paying the fee, they were able to get their car and dog back immediately.

The owner said, “My dog was just shaking. She was freaked. My biggest issue was my dog. Can you take a car with a dog in it?”

The couple did not realize that there was a sign saying that there was no parking during rush hour, and said they were only gone for 15 minutes.

What is with these non-responses? They make me not want to read this board anymore. I’m sick of it.

I agree. I’ve stopped reading the replies for the most part and just stay on the news page.

I was wondering what those posts were - they just recently started showing up.

    1. Cities need to post signs at a reasonable height - most times the signs are so high you don’t see them.

    2. Why is it that a tow truck is right there to tow a care illegally parked but not anywhere near when your car has broken down?

Those are trackbacks from sites that have linked to the articles here, but there’s no good reason for them to show up in the comments section. On most blogs that display trackbacks, it’s a different link than the comments section.
