Like many Shih Tzus, Chortles loved his little stuffed animals. He was so gentle with them. He had SOOOO many of them that we had to buy a little toy chest for them and kept it in the living room. Why we bought the chest, I don’t know, because our Shih Tzu would insist on having all his toys spread out over the living room floor. What was really a hoot was when the housekeeper would come each week. Maria would clean the house and then the very last thing she would do was pick up all the toys and put them back in the chest and leave the house. As soon as that door closed behind her our toy-loving pooch rescued all his little friends and spread them all over the floor again. Boy, I sure wish I’d video taped that.

Very cute. My first shih tzu used to lick his nose when I’d ask him if he was hungry. My sister always got a kick out of that. Too bad I never got it on video.
