Dogfighting Case May Go To Grand Jury in July
Authorities in the Michael Vick case say that they could have enough evidence to recommend an indictment before a grand jury in July. The evidence also may include testimonials from two people that have said they have more information about the investigation. The Commonwealth Attorney states that the investigation is focusing on more than one person, but it is still not clear if Vick is one of those people.

We just got a note there will be an “FDA media briefing on recall of products tainted with melamine†at 3 PM Eastern Time. I’ll be liveblogging it here.

ITCHMO ADMIN: We’ll be doing the same here as well. Between the two of us, there should be good notes.

Uh…isn’t this the comment section for the Michael Vick dogfighting case?
I’d like to see ANYONE convicted of dogifghting, cockfighting or any kind of animal cruelty be banned from owning any live animal for life, on top of whatever sentence they are given under current law.
These are people you couldn’t trust with a goldfish, let alone another dog. If animal abusers who have been convicted of cruelty aren’t allowed to own any animals at all they will have less opportunity to re-offend.
