I just recently finished an exhaustive search for a RELIABLE automatic cat feeder. It's amazing how crappy/unreliable some of them are. Just like some of the automatic litter boxes, they work for a while, then die. Anyway, I invested in one called the Perfect Petfeeder, and me and my two "kids" could not be happier with it. I don't think I'd want one that I had to phone in to in order to dispense food. The point is to be able to program it to feed consistently if I'm there or not. The one I got does that perfectly and it can feed up to 6 times a day. Check it out if you're in the market for one.

Jeez - can anyone do anything about these annoying link threads?

Anyway, I'd be interested if they can invent one that cleans the litter box.
