First Aid For Pets
April is National Pet First Aid Awareness Month. Not only do humans need a first aid kit handy, but pets should have one too. Here are some items that should be included in a Pet First Aid Kit: non-stick bandages, towels to control bleeding, leash or cloth to use as a muzzle, 3% hydrogen peroxide and a turkey baster (to induce vomiting), gauze, medical tape, tweezers, clean gloves, and water. Many animal organizations offer Pet First Aid classes. Be in the know and keep your pet safe.
