Somewhere on line they have a very beautiful retirement tribute to Rookie - with the song “I will remember you”, with video from his puppy days also. Worth looking for.
(I was feeling very sad after reading about LadyCat - and remembering my own losses - this was a nice pick-me-up)

This lovely Golden is so amazing! How could anyone ever abuse or attempt to hurt as for example the dog food recalls, such an intelligent and beautiful creature like this dog. He takes so much joy in entertaining and giving joy and laughter to the world. My eyes welled up with tears of joy myself when watching the video. May he live a long, healthy, protected and loved charmed life. Who is this dog???? FANTASTIC!

What a wonderful and happy pair. I think Rookie is having more fun than Carolyn. This is the most enjoyable video I have ever seen.
