My dachshund almost died this weekend because of the Waggin Train Chicken Jerky Tender purchased at Sam’s. PLEASE DO NOT FEED THESE to your pets, Please. It started with the rash and then Kidney Failure, what is it going to take to STOP this madness.

Our dog Lady had not eaten any of the China product when she came down with kidney Failure. We had to put her to sleep and she was only 4. This was in August. Then I read about the Chicken Strips from Walmart. She loved those! I called her vet and he said yes that was probably the culprit. This whole thing is unreal. With so many getting sick and having to be put down, don’t they realize that something terrible is wrong with that product? I switched to Bestro because Waggin Tails was so expensive. I wish I would have paid the extra and kept her safe.

Our pet Rosie, a 3 year old Chihuahua was poisoned from Chinese made Bestro’s Jerky Chicken Strips #77849 00006 1 We have this contaminated bag. We have three Chihuahuas and one of them died one month ago. She started with vomiting and dehydration (she was drinking lots of water) and then we were told she may either have an obstruction or have been poisioned. Since our dogs are inside dogs and we are with them at all times outside we thought it was an obstruction. Finally the doctor at Elwood Animal Clinic in Glendora, California said he was almost positive it was some kind of poisoning. They were going to scope her but before that could happen she died July 21, at VCA in Fountain Valley, California.
We gave our dogs Waggin train and Bestro’s Jerky Chicken Strips. Our Sweet Rosie (our chihuahua that passed) loved them and and she would eat all the treats we put down for the other dogs too. Up until today we never had any idea what happened but now with Wal Mart pulling this quietly from their shelves. (I brought my treats at Wal Mart, Glendora, California) I truly believe that is why she died. Rosie wants all dog owners to be aware of this and a Total Recall of this chinese junk pet treats so other puppies don’t slowly suffer is she did. How many other puppies must die before a total recall is called? We are totally heartbroken and will never forget Our Sweet Gypsy Rose! Since Wal Mart had this problem before, why didn’t they pull all that Chinese junk off the first time? Our Rosie will still be alive! Is Wal Mart concerned about people and their Pets or Money? You figured it out.

“The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is currently testing these treats to see if a contaminant can be found. So far, they have ruled out melamine, one of the chemicals that led to the massive pet food recall this spring, but have yet to identify anything that might be making pets sick.”

Not bloody likely they’ll ever name the contaminate. They may eventually find it, but they’ll NEVER identify it, or release the information. And when you obtain the report under the FOIA, the toxin name will be blacked out.

By now we know that the FDA is nothing more than an employment agency for bureaucrats and political cronies.

It’s a disgrace.

Just starting making your own food. Then you won’t be affected by all the “unknown” toxins in pet food.

Your homemade food may not be perfect, but it won’t be “poison” in a can or bag.

Just always know your pet’s health status, and check with your vet before making diet changes.

From the accounts I’ve read, it sounds like aflatoxin, but who knows? If these clowns can’t figure it out, they should send a sample to ExperTox, which appears to be the only lab in the country with facilities and personnel able to identify toxins in food in less than a year’s time.
