Witch hunt? Probably not. {btw alot of these dog-fights are NOW videoed intentionally {for betting purposes} and some by not-so indiscrimate participants, with video cell phones, it then gets ‘published’}.
I don’t remember vid caps of the Striper and the Duke boys and don’t remember them finding any Bodies buried in the back yard.

He’d be a *GREAT* {snark} Breeder too, figuring in that, he states, “Not my fault, I wasn’t home that much”.

{they also Breed for a “meaner” gene too, the Scum}

They ought to force him to take alot of his HUGE contract money and Build, a Very Large state of the art, Pit-Bull { and other fighting dog victims} Rescue and Recovery Facility, to be manned by Caring people 24/7 FOREVER!

This would also take care of Vicks “family and friends who *took advantage of him* and his money” issue.

THEN make him WORK there, with armed guards of course.
{you can bet with His money, HE wasn’t the one doing the “aftermath” healing, of these dogs}. Nice and Clean for him, hiring others to do the DIRTY work, and raking in the Money and “prestige” of this inhuman practice.

In the mean time, till his case is heard, might I recommend he be, the ball boy, water boy or towel boy, at the games??? {he does have that contract :-P }

I do not condone dog fighting one bit, but lets remember the Duke lacrosse kids before we start calling for Michael Vick’s head. I don’t know whether he is guilty or not, but let’s let this thing play out in the justice system before we start a witch hunt.

I guess Mike didn’t pay off the right people to keep his dog fighting empire on the down low. Perhaps the prosecutor is now getting his payments….
I’m sorry to be so cynical but knowing how much money is being made by Vick and others it would not surprise me in the slightest if some of it was used to line certain law enforcement pockets to keep their hobby quiet.

I am SO not surprised by this “revelation”. Not one bit.

What I really want to know is why does the Surry county prosecutor always sound like he’s defending Michael Vick instead of what he really should be doing…PROSECUTING him? Is it because he’s so reluctant to charge such a famous local resident with such a crime? Maybe he doesn’t want to prosecute a “brotha”? Or has Mr. Poindexter been paid handsomely to drag his feet?

Whatever the reason, Vick and his relatives that were involved in this horrible abuse of dogs all need to go to jail for a long time, and be banned from owning or living with any live animal for the rest of their lives.

This all makes me so sick. I’m glad I’ve never been a football fan and have never idolized these scumbags.

FWIW, I think it would be interesting to know if any of the dogs found at the site were from Vick’s breeding stock/kennel. Seems to me that any “responsible” breeder would want to make sure that his dogs were not used for illegal/inhumane purposes……

Call me reactionary, but I told my wife that, despite being a rabid NFL fan since I was in diapers, if Vick is allowed to continue to play in the NFL, I would never again watch an NFL game. I just feel too strongly about the issue.
