This is one thing I don’t understand about cats. A cat parent can give her kitty fresh water everyday, but the cat will turn up her nose at it then go outside and drink out of a puddle the yard. What is up with that?

I have two that will only drink water from 3 places: the toilet, the dripping faucet, and a cup on the corner of the table. :-) The one by the food bowl acts as a house humidifier, apparently.
