Arden’s first snow — this three-month-old mini doxie loves scampering in the snow. Although she practically needs to swim to get through it, especially when they got about 9 inches of snow in Western Connecticut.

The happiness of a dog in the snow is about the only thing that makes it bearable for me! I love to see their joy, and doxie mixes are wonderful dogs, such heart.

What a sweet face. I remember my dogs first “pee-pee” in the snow. He is a chihuahua and you know how they do not like cold weather (New York).

Thank you all for your lovely comments. I can report that Arden’s sweet face reflects an old soul spirit and an incredibly loving nature. She is doing wonders helping heal my heart after losing her 14 year old beloved brother Gordon to cancer this Fall…they never met but somehow I believe he may have had a “paw” in helping me find her!

Oooh! Sorry, I guessed the gender wrong. I am so happy you have this new friend to help you heal. How can your heart not melt looking at that face! :) Stef

How could you not love a face that screams out “Love me”? What a sweet looking dog.
My last dog was a border collie mix. When I lived in Massachusetts, she loved to pounce in and out of the snow, often disappearing in the deep stuff. Does yours do the same?
