This is what Sheryl wrote about her dogs Jasper (top) and Jake (bottom):
Jasper is my retired Service Dog. I am disabled and he has helped me keep my balance and prevented me from falling as well as carried objects for me and brought me things I needed. He was a pound puppy when I got him, and after I became disabled he decided that he wanted to help me, so I trained him to be my Service Dog.
Jake is my Service Dog in training. He has some pretty big paws to fill after Jasper, but he is doing wonderfully and will be a great helper and partner that I can depend on.
Jasper is now nine-years-old and Jake is now one-year-old although he was only 6 months when the picture was taken.
Service Dogs are angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have forgotten how to fly!

What great dogs and great friends too, makes it all the clearer that dogs really are humans ‘best friends’ and that people who love them and appreciate them, like you, are their best friends. It’s a great circle of love and support, thanks for warming my heart on a very cold day!

Sheryl, Jasper and Jake are very handsome. Thanks for sharing their pictures and story. Good luck with the training and when Jasper retires, hopefully, he will have a long, happy retirement.
