The dog was great but had a quirk in his personality. The dog was liable to bite anyone who did not act right around him or his owner. I was oblivious to this upon first meeting the dog. I did not fear him and he let me play with him without incident. When the dog was in the yard he would look out of the gate at people passing by. He would not bark and he would wag his tail. If they approached the gate, his tail would wag even more ( I could swear he was grinning). If they reached through the gate to pet him he would explode and bite. Spend ten minutes researching the facts of the case and you will see that the James' are negligent. Mr. Rivera works for Mr. James' brother. The garderners had been at the house earlier and left due to rain. They were to return later to meet a deadline for the James' upcomming party. They stayed in the car as instructed by Mr. James who was taking a bath. When Mrs. James pulled up in her car the gardeners exited their vehicle. She had been out searching for the sixth German Shephard who was loose from the yard. Mr. Rivera had a rake and hit the dogs presumably in self defence. He then tried to hide from the attacking pack of dogs behind Mrs James. She fell/was pulled/was pushed/to the ground. Unfortunately there is no mention of a fenced yard but the cars pulled up to a danger zone as evidenced by Mr. James warning the gardeners. Thats where the anger comes from. I will embrace them when they come legally, respect us, our way of life and our laws. In this case it was another disrespectfull illegal taking what he can get....
