Man Mowing Lawns for His Dog’s Surgery Receives $10,000 in Donations
The Michigan disabled veteran that was mowing lawns to raise funds for his dog’s $8,000 hip replacement surgery has received over $10,000 in donations.
The generosity of people all over the world (including Itchmo readers) has touched the man especially an eighth grade class that raised as much as they could to help. The man will still continue to mow lawns to fundraise because he doesn’t want to think it’s everyone else’s responsibility to take care of his dog instead of it being his own responsibility.
Now, the last thing is that David, the dog, needs to lose 40 pounds before he can have his surgery. He has already started on his diet.

What a wonderful thing! It’s so nice to see people helping out their fellow people, whether they have two feet or four. And good luck with your diet and surgery David! You can do it!
