I for one am touched by this. I am a sucker for animals, especially dogs. I could never phathom why someone would do this to any animal with such an adorable face. As it has been stated, I am sure Fish knows very well how lucky she is to be here and enjoy her life as it should be. Guaranteed Fish will NEVER forget how lucky she is and appreciate Mr. and Mrs. Graham and family and give endless love. A dog naturally loves unconditionally so imagine how happy she is to be alive. Thank you for this happy ending. The world is full of pain and when I read this it makes me smile.

I’m at a loss for words. I hope someone can find out who the monster is that did that to Fish, who is already in hell. I hope the thought of this innocent dog, when they threw her in, haunts them till the day they die.

Fish’s original owner is already in hell: disconnected from life, set apart from the joy the universe has to offer, blind to the love in a dog’s eyes and heart.

What could be more hellish than that? Here’s hoping the person wakes up from the nightmare he has created for himself.

Here’s hoping that there is a “special” place in hell for Fish’s original owner. I can’t imagine trying to drown a dog, especially by throwing it into a canal tied to a concrete block!!! What is wrong with some people???

Fish is very, very lucky indeed that this kind man who saved her happened along when he did.

As for the person (and I use that term VERY loosely) who tied her to a concrete block and threw her in a canal, I hope you die a slow, lonely death by drowning in a cesspool. It’s where you should be because you are a piece of sh!t.

Poodlluver you are so right. Just when I read something else like this and think how bad alot of people are I have to remember that there are still good people like the man that saved this pup. There are reasons its seems for everything. This man is a good man and I know this dog will have the best life now. I read all of your post and all of you think like I do so we know there are still good people like us around and MR. Graham too. Vick would do this I think Poodlluver hit on something. Just wondering…has anyone else noticed the scars on this dog in the picture?
I cant help but wonder if she was treated this way because she was not ‘game’ enough to fight other dogs, for some jerk?

Sounds just like something a ‘vick’ would do…

My heart aches to think of the terror that Fish went through before you SAVED him!!!Thank you so much for rescuing him and giving him the home that he deserved. What a story!!! I know he’ll be the best dog and best friend to you forever!! What comes around goes around! Thank God that Fish was strong enough to endure this horrible act and hang on for his life until his Angel arrived!!!!
