Meet Baby The Bionic Cat

BabyMove over, Bionic Woman. The world has Baby, the Bionic Cat.

Six-year-old Baby has been fitted with metal plates in all four legs after she survived two 21 foot falls.

Last September, Baby was taken to the animal hospital after falling from a third floor window in her owner’s London home for the second time.

The short-haired cat had suffered multiple fractures in both back legs and they inserted metal implants in her back legs.

After an X-ray, the staff found out that Baby already had two metal implants in her front legs which were inserted after a previous fall when she was a kitten.

Baby is recovering and staff said that this cat is extremely lucky to have survived her multiple falls. But they said that both Baby and her owner need to be careful to keep the rest of her lives intact.

Veterinary staff believed that Baby was probably sitting in the sun on the edge of a balcony and then fell off.

It’s amazing they are *returning* a cat to an owner that doesn’t even have screens (I’m assuming - since they said she was supposedly out on a window ledge) and let this happen twice.

Hum…maybe they should implant a parachute in her back? Anti-gravity shoes?

    Beautiful kitty though.

This should not have happen the first time .A second time ? Owner needs to be charged with neglect.
