Even if Menu was now selling a perfect product: they don't deserve our business because of how they are treating those of you who have already lost your pets! Even if China stopped using poisons in their products, they don't deserve our business as long as they are using child labor and other heinous practices to make the crap. Walmart doesn't deserve our business because they don't even bother to do an official recall or contact the media to stop those who have already purchased their poisons. If trader Joes continues to try to deceive us by removing made in china labels, then I will stop buying from them. Trust has to be earned! Trust has been lost.

If they were still not making garbage to feed your pets, they would not need any supplements from China to add to the food, so you have been forwarned. To all those poor pets out there...I feel so sorry for you who's owners just don't get it.

How would the consumer know when the second choice had to be used??

It was not this food that sickened my cats but I don't understand how anyone that had used this, even if their animals did not get ill, could buy this food again. When my older cat was in the "recovery" stage when we gave her anything to get her to eat, after I put the dish down --she would look at it, smell it and then stare up at me as if she knew! I will never get this image out of my head! I am not able to get past this and all the "quality assurance or OK's" can not bring me to ever trust the recalled foods! Knowing what my cats went through is enough of a reminder without seeing the actual product on my shelf.

I posted this earlier & it went off into internet heaven. What is going on? If this winds up being a duplicate, oops!

Menu has finally made an honest statement about where they get their vitamins from......more than I can say for some of the other companies who are still not telling the truth about their vitamins. Maybe now that they are on the edge of losing the whole enchilada, they decided to clean up their act & make something decent. Not that I would trust them any time soon, just saying......

Is it possible things could possibly change for the better?????????

Sorry all.....when this posted, so did the first one. Duh!

I wouldn't give Menu credit for very much, trust me, but at least they made an honest statement about the vitamins & where they have to get them. Maybe, just maybe, because they are on the edge of losing the whole enchilada, they are actually going to make some decent canned food for a change. Not that I feel confident buying it......just saying........

"Menu Foods said they have made every effort to replace all Chinese ingredients sources with domestic sources (US and Canada) as a first choice."

As a FIRST CHOICE!!!! After this debacle, it should be the ONLY choice. Obviously, Menu Foods learned nothing from this fiasco. They should be shut down. And shame on Wegmans.
