Menu Foods says they delayed the recall because they were testing. ChemNutra was mentioned as being the company that sold the food to the NJ and Kansas plants of Menu Foods.
Christie’s on. Asked the number of deaths. She talks about the lack of system for investigating. Christie mentions 9,000 affected animals. As of 7pm 1434 dead dogs, 1751 cats dead.
If Menu Foods or FDA acted sooner, would it have been less? YES! Better notification system would have saved lives.

was disappointed in AC360 (except for the interview), was kind of superficial and weak. wish AC himself was doing the report - maybe the result would be different (more compassion?)

Awww… that was just so sweet of them. BUT I do take issue with them using the word “Facts” in their title as if to infer “truth”. Then again, it is a PR. Going to take more than that to try to qwell the tide of the very scandal that they created.
The interview went well. It is a milestone for those dedicated humans who have worked so hard to get the truth out via major media. And Itchmo has been a major player… Thank You, Itchmo!

Alert me re future safety recalls. Great job you are doing on this situation. Again, he government and industry are not fessing up, which unfortunately, leads to more confusion and more animals suffering.
