Mold-Sniffing Dog Can Detect 18 Types Of Mold

KodyMold. We all hate it. Two-year-old Kody loves to sniff it out.

Kody works for Susan Weiss, owner of K-9 Mold Service. She brings this mold-detecting beagle into a home and lets her sniff around. When she finds the mold, she sits down. Weiss then asks Kody to show her where the mold is.

Once the mold is found, Weiss then takes an air sample to determine what kind of mold it is. She says that Kody’s biggest advantage to other mold inspectors is that she can sniff out mold that can’t be seen and is hiding within the house.

After Kody is done sniffing out mold, she gets a treat. Well done, Kody.

“Kody loves to sniff it out”?!! Mold that could be a health issue to her in later years? What’s next? Dog sniffing nuclear waste?

This has to stop! Airborne mold spores are toxic to humans, why would anyone risk a dog like this? Oh. Sorry. I forgot. Money!
