Hey everyone,
I created a message board for those concerned with the Pet Food Recall & needing information on it. There is a healing circle to share your stories, and place to share updates and legal information, and a place to share advice and care.

Even if you don't think you need the message board, please pass on the link:

I wonder how many employees have had their pets die since they claim to be "Pet People".

I had a 17 year old that I feed Fancy Feast Sliced (various) meat to. I had purchased a 36 can pack of this food on 3/22/2007 which was purchased at BJ's warehouse. On 3/23/07 I fed him a can of Fancy Feast Sliced Turkey Feast in Gravey (expiration date 12/2008)- 15-20 minutes after consuming almost the entire can he began to vomit profusely. The vomiting continued to cause total lethargy and dehydration. Yesterday on 3/30/07 I took him to the vet. I was told that even an IV of fluids would not reverse the kidney damage he apparently had encountered. I had to put him down. He was otherwide a very health cat up until that point.

I am appalled that Purina is not acknowledging any problems with this food. I have read blogs from around the country - and everyone has almost an exact story that happened to their beloved cats.

The fact that Menu Foods could get away with selling pet food that has caused the untimely death of so many of our beloved pets is atrocious. There is already a class action lawsuit underway, but here's your chance to contact the CEO of the Menu Foods yourself. Spread the word!

Paul Henderson
President & CEO
Menu Foods GenPar Limited
8 Falconer Dr.
Mississauga, ON L5M 2C1
Canada
Tel.: 905-826-3870
Fax: 905-826-8102

Here's his HOME ADDRESS and phone number (which will probably be disconnected real soon):

Paul K Henderson
56 Willett Cr
Richmond Hill, ON L4C 7V9
(905) 737-2345

This guy deserves all the complaints he can get, and then some, for endangering the lifes of so many of our pets. Even worse, their sensitivity and appreciation for the seriousness of their transgression has been severely lacking.
