We named our first dog, a 12 lbs rescued terrier mutt, Einstein Napoleon. Einstein because he always tries to outsmart us and Napoleon because he always thinks he is a bigger dog than he is.

Neuro (short for neurotic), Little Girl….name was changed after he sprayed!! I was a kid, what did I know, he had a pink nose….he should have been a girl. Butch, Little Boy
Meatball, Acorn, Rocky, Bandit, Puddles(he was found in the pouring rain in a puddle), Tiggr, Raisin, Kitty, Norton, Walter Brennan
RockyII, Rambo, Tuffy, Fitzie
In the house now…..
Rikers, Gizmo, Gadget, Rufus, Frosty, Edgar Winter
Callie the mom I rescued and her 5 kittens that were saved (2 were adopted to a wonderful home this evening!!) The kittens that were adopted….Yoda and Josie.
The remaining 3 are Elly, Sonny and Minnie
I have loved and will continue to love them all

My first black cat was named Jinx. Mavrick was a half coyote/border collie.
My recently deceased Maltese was Nikki, Short for Ice Man’s Last Nickle - five puppies in her mom, Penny and father, Icemantese’s, last litter. Current kitties are Lincoln, for the local breeder and where we live, and Disco, for Discovery Bay where she was born to her feral mom and we lived. One of our cats was named Benowa, because that’s what his cries sounded like to our hearing-impared daughter. We named one of our cats Rowdy Red - because he was! It’s more fun to name our animals than our kids.

I have a Max, but it’s spelled Maks. I added a vowel and named him after my children - Megan, Kayla, and Steven. We also have Bam-Bam, Molly, Buddy, Jewel, Bitsy, Jack, and Bubba.

My cats names are:

Jake, Clarence, Jasmine, Belle, Puck, Pepper, Cosmo, Felix, Jaspurr.

They don’t have human names persay but they are my babies. Rather have my furkids than human kids ^_^

What does it mean if your cats have human first names, and animal second names? (In my case it means I added a human first name to their shelter names).
