Move On Over Starbucks
Who needs Starbucks coffee when you can get cat’s poo coffee. In Australia, natives are drinking cat’s poo coffee and it costs $50 per cup and people are paying for it! The Indonesian coffee is called Kopi Luwak and its made from the feces of a Luwak (a small cat like creature which is indigenous to Indonesia). These animals eat the freshest coffee cherries and when it passes through their digestive system, it remains intact but is no longer bitter and this makes a sweeter tasting coffee. Any disease, parasite or fungus is eliminated when it is heated in the initial brewing (sounds yummy). This coffee is now the most expensive coffee in the world. I guess I can’t complain about the prices at Starbucks anymore.

I don’t think so.
If I want sweet coffee I can add honey or chocolate syrup…and it’s a helluva lot cheaper.
yuck. yuck. yuck.
Bleh.

I heard about this about 6 years ago… read one review and they said it tastes like a rat drowned in their coffee… but also met a coffee connoiseur who said it was pretty good (but not worth the price).

I like my coffee in the mornings, I don’t like it THAT much. While will I will happily eat rotted animal fat (aka cheese) or rotten fish (nước mắm) and drink rotted grains or honey (beer & mead), I draw the line coffee made from pre-digested coffee beans.

If, in other parts of the world, they can eat snake piss soup and sheep eyeballs and mountain oysters for delicacies then let them eat cat kaka too.
