I think anyone who sides with “vic” has a real problem. I do not believe the Devil would except him after all he did to precious animals, God loved animals, he placed them in the Garden of Eden, and god told Noah to place them on the ark two by two, every kind of animal. Actually I think being with the devil would be to good for him , he deserved a much harsher sentence, a good choice would have been to give animal shelters one half of every thing he owns. Yes, it is some endless sense of entitlement some athletes have. We as a society have to take some responsibility for treating them like stars. They get a pass in school just so they can keep playing. Some of them don’t finish college to join the leagues. Some are paid millions and advertising deals, endorsements and women all come flying to their feet.

They start to think they are above the law, unless they ahve had a strong upbringing. It goes to their heads and they think they are Gods, that no one should question them.

Where this cruelty comes in on top of all that I don’t know. I don’t know how anyone could become that inhuman, even with a big head.

DOWN WITH THE WHOLE TEAM!!!!!! AND THEIR FANS!!! My grandson plays junior high football, and basketball, and track, and soccer on the side. He’s very good (his coach says even at 70 % he’s better than most at 120%). He is also an animal lover, and has a strong sense of right and wrong. I’ve seen him stop and apologize when he has knocked another player down in a soccer game, and ask if the player was okay. When he was two he said when he grew up he was going to get in the TV and play football so we could watch him, and has kept that goal up ’til now. As he gets older he is beginning to dread high school sports because according to him, most of the “star” players are gangsters, and he is starting to notice that whoever is paying the officials is getting all the calls in their favor. Looks to me like we have a much bigger problem than we know.

The karma is they lost the game. I hope all involved in this mess pay for it with their jobs eventually. If Atlanta starts losing fans, aka money, maybe they will start to “get it”. The networks showing the games need to exert a little more control over what members of the NFL do on the air and off. Boycotting Monday night football and letting them know why would be a start.

Now you know another reason why their coach left. Those dopes he had to coach were just as low on the evolutionary scale as Vick is. How can you coach “people” who don’t know right from wrong? You can’t. I would have left as well.
And that owner, what a stupid man he is. Amass a fortune, over pay for a football franchise, watch it implode due to your own inability to judge character, and whine about it on national TV. His star player LIED to his face and he still manages to skirt around the whole issue? What a dumb ass he is.
As for Vick, time will take care of him. He may come back to the NFL, he may not. My guess is Goodall will not want a player as tainted as Vick any where near the organization. The previous commission of football could have stopped this a long time ago but chose to keep his head buried in the sand.

It is sad that every time a person of color commits a horrendous act….that there are those who want to claim that the very natural reaction of repugnance is racist.

Vick is a moral slug….and the color of his skin has nothing to do with it.

People should be judged on their actions….not the hue of their skin.

Too many football players are coddled from junior high on and shown that they do not have to follow the same rules that the rest of society must abide by….it is no wonder that too often they act like million-dollar thugs.

I don’t care if Vick is purple, he is still a dispicable peice of shit (I can’t call him a Human Being). I think that anyone, that is supporting him should be investigated, because I agree, that they were probably part of the murders. I’m an animal lover, but I also am a pit bull lover. I asked someone to leave my house the other day for talking bad about pit bulls. I’ve also lived in a suburb of Atlanta all my life and have tried to support the Falcons. But NO MORE!! I have totally lost all respect for the franchise, and I have also lost all respect for the NFL. Consider them boycotted in my house. I also heard today that ESPN reported, that if the NFL reinstated Vick, that the Oakland Raiders said that they would offer him a contract. Oh, and some info for you, the company “Big Dogs” is selling some great T- Shirts. Check them out at www.bigdogs.com . I bought one and they have 2 more that I want. They will tell the world exactly what we think of Sick Vick and his supporters.

Hi Stefani you are so right Martin Luther King would not have liked Vicks Behavior. Vick still doesn’t get it. those dogs could have had a good life but Vick and his friends made sure they suffered. I just cringe when i think of what the little puppies thought and how trusting dogs are to have to endure that. I hope they all get what they deserve and what ever treatment they gave to the dogs may it all come back on them and I pray that it will. They are just sorry they got caught.

$10,000? That is a penny in a bucket for Mikey. As for those football players and fans who rally behind him, they were the same who’d support any athlete who committed hideous crimes! Their children look up to those same athletes as idols. Well, look at the parents!

Those grossly over-paid football players exist because there are big time gamblers who willingly support them.

I’m sure I speak for 99% of us - it was never a race issue. But sadly Vick has managed to inflame what racial divide existed prior to the breaking news.

Thank you Mr. Goodell for your crack down. I would suggest that you not only fine the players, but fine the team owner as well. Surely this will make the owner temper his employees, add clauses to their contracts, etc. [I hope.] But in addition to all that, I would also recommend that each time a player flaunts his support of Vick that his fine doubles from the last one. $10,000 this week, $20K next time, $40K the time after that, etc.

For the kind of bucks these teams are paying the players they should make sure they have better control over them.

Anyone supporting Vick is simply not cool. And anyone who thinks it is, is a colossal moron.

I would really like to see pro-ball be played by decent role models our kids can look up to. I think Americans deserve this concession.

Fans at Playmakers Barber Shop in Midtown said they still support Vick, because they feel he is innocent, and that he is a victim of a racist judicial system.
