Pennsylvania Pet Store Displays Rare Two-Headed Turtle

A rare two-headed red-eared slider turtle is on display at a pet store in Pennsylvania.

The 2-month-old turtle has two heads sticking out opposite ends of its shell. The conjoined turtle twins also have a pair of front feet on each side, but there is only one set of back feet and one tail. The turtle seems to be healthy.

The store manager said they bought the turtle from a collector in Florida. They plan to keep it on display and not sell the turtle. They would not disclose how much they paid for the turtle.

    Wish I had two heads!

Maybe I’d be able to keep track of all the pet food news.

The same turtle was featured in today’s on line “China Daily”.Two heads might be handy!

Sorry, but I don’t like the idea of showing this little guy off like he was something in a “freak show”.

He is adorable. I don’t think the little guys life is being impaired in the least by people appreciating him. You know, at a pet store all of the animals are on display, do you think this one should not be on display because he is different? I am glad I got to see this amazing little creature.
