Pet Food Class Action Lawsuit Filed Against Procter & Gamble

Iams

On Monday, Chicago attorney, Larry D. Drury, filed a class action complaint against Procter & Gamble in the U.S. District Court for New Jersey over tainted cat food allegations.

The suit (Johnson v. The Procter & Gamble Company, et al.) stems from claims that Iams brand cat food allegedly caused renal and kidney problems for cats that consumed the food.

The cat food suit alleges unfair trade practices, negligence, strict liability, and unjust enrichment against Procter & Gamble and several other defendants.

Procter & Gamble is also named as one of the defendants in a pet food class action lawsuit filed in the state of Florida.

Good, good, you made my day. They should get some of the vets who recommend their food & the AVMA & FDA. What garbage food & they put in what they want. Warning letter from FDA, Jan. 8,07. Chromium tripicolinate in dog food up to 150 ppb and in cat food at amounts up to 200 ppb of cource not on label. They are proberly still putting it in. I hope they rot in H!!!. I really believe they killed 2 of my babies very slowly, and have hurt my other boy. I don’t believe we will ever know what all these companies put in the food but to be vet recommend is more than a sin it’s deadly. I hope they start getting caught for what they are putting in all their other products. Big money, do whatever you want, you can get away with it, afer all it’s only people & their pets.

    Great, Great news.

Pet Food IS KILLING our pets. Some of it kills quickly, some over a period of years.

I hope the class action idea catches on. Wouldn’t want Nestle Purina and Colgate Hill’s to be left out of the fun.

Interesting problem too, my friends i
n Europe don’t seem to be afraid of THEIR pet food.

Note to FDA: Why DID the recall happen in the good ‘ol USA?

    What a disgrace!

I hope these law suits also start including the vets whom are dealers in pet foods .As they seem to really promote some of these products that are nothing but chemical cocktails for pets.
