Pet Oxygen Masks
Fire safety is extremely important not only for humans but for our pets too. Delaware will be the first state in the US to equip all of its fire stations with pet oxygen masks. There are three different sized masks for various sizes of pets. Human oxygen masks don’t work on pets because they are too big, so the oxygen will escape from the sides. Delaware firefighters, thank you for looking after our pets.

Ohhhhh. I have a friend who lives in a large pet-friendly apartment building. It’d be great if there were a way to have those masks on hand in case of a fire.

Read all about the masks at www.helpanimalsinc.org - watch a video of an actual rescue and resuscitation on their website - awesome. DE firefighters already saved 8 cats last year using the masks they received in the first of the distribution!!

Those masks are great. I donated the money for our township to buy the masks and in turn another township got them for free. Happy to see this is catching on around the country.
