A woman and her toddler son were bitten by a dog at Cincinnati Bengal cornerback Deltha O’Neal’s home.
Officials said they received a 911 call from a woman who asked for help, but she hung up before giving her address. They traced her cell phone number and checked her house, but no one was there.
Neighbors said they saw two people leave the residence 20 minutes earlier inside a car belonging to O’Neal.
The police found the woman, Jasmie Risco, and her 3-year-old son seeking medical treatment at a hospital for dog bites to their bodies.
Authorities said the NFL player was not present when the Rottweiler bit the two, but when he returned home, he took them to the hospital.
The dog has been taken into police custody and authorities are investigating the incident.
