I wonder if the house wasn't dull and boring and perfectly bland for a reason.......so that it wouldn't call attention to anyone passing by.

Re Vick, Todd, Joyner, Vick's attorney........what's the old saying?

"Birds of a feather flock together."

23 months? That's BS!!!

VOTE: Did Vick get the right punishment?
AT&T Yahoo! - The suspended NFL quarterback was sentenced to 23 months in prison for his role in a dogfighting ring, out of a max 5 years. Do you agree with the sentence?

Here's hoping the house never sells, or of it does, Mr. Todd takes a hit on the price. I wouldn't stay in his planned B&B for free. And yes, the property is terribly unappealing. As for the math: one million divided by 49 (dogs) is roughly $20,408 per animal. Consider long term care and rehabilitation, food, spay or neuter, vet fees, etc., I'd say it's a very reasonable maintenance charge. Bless the dogs rescued and those who adopt them forever.

yea, taking a look at the house, I have to agree with theAsocialApe. The place is totally generic looking and has no kind of appeal to it whatsoever. I mean sure, the grass is cut and all, but other than that its pretty bland looking. Even the pool looks bored.

on another note, that house is big, but wtf? it's totally generic looking. it's like vick went out and ordered 'big house #75' from a catalog. and what's with the grounds? no plants, no landscaping, just a b-ball court and a scummy looking above ground pool.

i live in the poor section of town, and while our yards are small, nearly everyone's place looks classier than that McMansion - even the rentals.

This developer is as sick as Vick. There is no freakin' way I would stay at a bed and breakfast where animals where tortured and abused. Why not open a b&b at a Natzi gas chamber? This developer would probably be all for it if it made him a buck.

This morning around 6am "Tom Joyner" of the Tom Joyner Morning show was talking to Vicks attorney over the phone and Tom Joyner kept saying "They were JUST dogs and it is because Vick is BLACK and it is JUST US......(people of color) who are always getting what Michael Vick is getting. I was driving on my way to work on the dark Interstate and ALMOST RAN OFF THE ROAD in my rage. What a PUTRID attitude......and Tom Joyner truly showed his sickeningly slanted and ignorant views on life and the total lack of respect for animals who are living feeling beings who ARE TRULY ABUSED in this day and age. He also sneered that ONLY white people feel that Vick should be punished for killing JUST dogs. I have a MUCH lower view of Tom Joyner than ever before, and what really drives him. He is a racist AND an animal hater.

I agree with Maria. Given his statements, "keeping them damn dogs alive," Todd is nothing more than human garbage.

Right on, Maria. I can't even begin to imagine how anyone can "find peace" after touring the Vick home. And moreover, I hate how the media uses a bad image as a good sell. This auctioneer is purposely advertising the house as "The Michael Vick House" just so people can get a kick out of the fact that Vick tortured and killed innocent dogs because they weren't "aggressive" enough. I don't understand our culture nowadays or our motivations. Doesn't anyone have any integrity or compassion left? And as for the remark about the government charging Vick $1 million to keep the surviving dogs alive- while anyone can agree that $1 million is a lot of money, that judge knew the Vick had the money to afford it. I think that judge felt that Vick needed to learn a lesson through all of this, and what better way to learn some kind of a lesson than to hand over a ton of your money right?
