Reward Offered In Tortured Cat Case

A cat suffered a long and cruel death after being hung by a rope from a fence in New Jersey. Animal control officers were called to the scene and they freed the cat. They said that the cat was just barely able to touch the ground and tore up the pads on his feet trying to escape. The cat died shortly after arriving at an animal hospital. One of the animal control officers said that this was the worse act of cruelty he had seen in his 16 years on the job.
The Humane Society is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this case.

OMG - how can there be such sick people in the world. Who ever did such a cruel act deserves to be locked away for life….or hung themselves.

Dikovics said anyone arrested would be charged with cruelty to animals and face a $1,000 fine and up to 6 months in prison.
If they find the person, the punishment should be a lot worse. $1000 fine & 6 months? Big deal.

the paper did a follow-up story today. people are absolutely outraged. i would love to get my hands on the sickos who did this disgusting act…

I am sure these people will be back to do more damage to more animals…or they will move on to people, as most serial killers tortured animals at one time or another.

The individual or individuals who did this are on their way for bigger more horrid tortures for animals. Maybe that was the last animal they wanted to slowly steal life from and want to try a human next. What if it is someone we know and love? Our pets are family and we love them dearly; but they don’t come close to our child/children, parents, husband/wife. People who do things like this DO move on. They get bored with animals. They can’t talk back or really express pain and feeling. I want to know how long the sicko sat and watched one of God’s innocent creatures fight for its life? That is how long that demon should have to fight for its waste of space they their life.
