Rocker’s Cat Forced To Smoke Crack Cocaine
A picture of a cat addicted to crack cocaine was leaked by friends of the frontman for the band The Babyshambles. Pete Doherty, who was dating Kate Moss, is said to be regularly getting his cats high on drugs. “They said it PASSES OUT with its paws in the air, suffers MOOD SWINGS and even thinks it can FLY,” according to the description in the UK’s The Sun tabloid. The leaked picture of the cat Dinger — named after a slang term for a syringe — is shown above.
Friends of Doherty say that he finds the drugged out cat to be “hilarious”.
“He even made a special mini-crack pipe out of a bottle so it can get the maximum hit.
“But the kitten is starting to get really bad withdrawal symptoms.
“It has lost some of its balance and takes huge risks jumping over things that are too high. It thinks it can fly. It’s really distressing to see.â€
The UK’s RSPCA declined to launch an investigation into the matter citing lack of evidence.
The problem of animals on drugs isn’t limited to this one instance. We reported on a story of a vet treating a cat addicted to cocaine in Australia. And The Sun claims that in the US, “crack squirrels are a recognized problem in New York and Washington DC parks.”

Do you believe everything you read in the National Enquirer as well? Of course the RSPCA won’t investigate -there’s no truth to the story OR the photo.

I don’t know why anyone would want to get their cat high on drugs. Is the life they lead so miserable that they have to subject their poor defenseless cat to the hell as well?? This is cruelity to animals in the mose awfull sence and the owner of that cat should be proscuted to the fullest extent of the law!!!
