Small Dog Saved From Alligator’s Mouth
Milo, a rat terrier, was just outside his back door in Florida far from any body of water or swamps.
The family’s son heard his dog cry out in pain and his father went outside to investigate. He saw that there was a five-foot long alligator about to attack Milo. The man stepped on the alligator’s tail and rescued the terrier from being devoured by the alligator.
Milo had already been inside the mouth of the alligator and he sustained numerous wounds all over his body. The family took him to the vet and the vet worked all night long to save him. The dog ended up with 24 stitches in various places. Milo is expected to recover and is already walking again.
The next day, three police officers captured the alligator. Milo’s owner says that he will keep a close eye on his dog when he is walking him and when he’s in the backyard. You’re one tough terrier, Milo.
