I think this is great, what wonderful people. I wish this was everywhere in the United States. Imo it should be paid for by taxpayers if voted on I bet it would pass.

The Altered Tails story is proof that great ideas can become workable realities when hard work, selfless dedication - and generous monetary donations - come together in the right place at the right time. Kudos and thanks (even though I live 2,000 miles away) to Pat Carpenter, Bea & Dick Barnhart, and all the veterinarians, vet techs, volunteers, donors, and supporters of this endeavor.

BTW, I love the Altered Tails logo. It’s simple, unique, and a teensy bit…um…*evocative*, but in the sweetest way!

Isn’t Maracopa County one of the places in the country that is supposed to be “no kill” where the over population/euthanasia issue had been miraculously stopped?? Wasn’t it Ed Boks that supposedly made it “no kill” (I HATE that term BTW). If 60,000 animals are being euthanized annually, there is absolutely an unwanted companion animal problem there! And yes, I’m very thankful that Pat Carpenter is making a difference!

I commend Pat Carpenter for offering such a wonderful service. I think most decent dog/cat owners would have their pet/s spay/neuter if the cost was not prohibited.

I WISH we had such a service here in So. CA!
