Stray Cat Causes Power Outage

A stray cat caused a temporary blackout in Mascoutah, Illinois. The cat got into the transformer and unfortunately was killed by the electrical surge. The power loss affected 90% of the city. Officials for the city say that the transformer is fenced in, but still small animals have gotten into the area from time to time.
