Dog can also swim, just like a man. Most of the dogs would be nervous about venturing on their own, presence of owner will increase the confident of the dog.

Also, lepto can be harbored in fresh water. Urine from as we know mammals, raccoons, foxes and skunks. We had a dog test positive, he has been swimming in a lake near his owner’s home.

This is a worthwhile and pay attention to posting. I’d be willing to bet that with most pet owners who watch their dogs “jump in the lake” to cool off, this distinct possibility never enters their minds.
