WHAT?????? He ADMITTED to killing dogs, and it’s been DOCUMENTED that the dogs were murdered in the cruelest ways possible! What on earth is wrong with these people! Were these jurors among the recipients of his great shoe giveaway, perhaps?

Their decision is beyond moronic, and it certainly is a sad indictment of human morals, compassion, and intelligence. One has to ask: What’s in it for them, and how can they sleep at night?

I resent that remark. I am from the south, I live in the south. I am also a pet owner that is in no way on the level of Michael Vick. I don’t know where you are from but it does not matter. You are generalizing a large group of people for no reason. Do not associate the vast majority of us, who do not condone what he has done, with Michael Vick.

The real issue is dogfighting, and to see that justice is served for the animals that had to endure what Michael Vick and his cohorts put them through.

HOW DO YOU NOT GET CHARGED WITH ANIMAL CRUELTY ON THIS!!!!! THE GRAPHIC DESCRIPTIONS OF CRUELTY! THE PHYSICAL EVIDENCE OF BADY ABUSED DEAD BODIES OF DOGS. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE. Some day, somewhere, Vic will get what is coming to him and he will physically suffer like those poor dogs. Karma is a bitch. Sic em Karma.

Translation: they’re looking out for the local boy. This is a rural county with a small population almost evenly divided between black and white and with virtually no Hispanics or Asians. Looks like the profile for a close -knit Southern community in a time warp.

but he signed statements that said he killed 6-8 dogs. maybe they’re saving the threat of more charges as a bargaining chip? i hope it’s something or he’s getting off light on the charges considering what he’s signed. admitting he did it shouldn’t give him a pass . . .

My GUESS is that they feel they can’t prove that Vick himself inflicted cruelty.

Could be they’re saving best for last. Probably better to prosecute for a few charges at a time so as not to leave the door open wide for a complete defeat. Just a guess.
