The Crackdown Continues…

Jailhouse Dog Not only is the city of Seattle enforcing that owners have city license tags for their pets, now they are also cracking down on dogs that are off leash in public areas (except for off leash dog parks). Enforcement officers are giving out tickets anywhere from city parks to schools to playgrounds. Tickets start at $54 and go up to $162. Beware of the Big Brother. You have been warned.

Eek! Time to get those licenses.

I wonder if this will affect places that all of us dog-owners sneak off to in the wee hours of the morning to let the pooches run free?

Has anyone been to the off-leash area under I-5? My dogs are horrified by it. They used this big rocks to cover the ground, and my little guys simply can’t manage to walk on them.
